My biggest challenge is time. There are so many things I want to do--like write a series of related how-to posts, make some project tutorials, and share my own projects, but I also want to maybe make stuff to sell on etsy, and maybe patterns too. And I'm thinking about submitting some projects to craft magazines. Then there's taking care of my family and house so, yeah. Finding time is my challenge.

The most dificult part of blogging for me is the WAVES that it comes in! Sometimes I am full of posts and other times i have nothing!

I tend to babble about everything that's happened since whenever the last time I posted was, instead of having organized updates as to progress on different projects. My posts are overly long and inconsistent in frequency.

I put up a post weekly when I am at home whether I have anything to say or not. That keeps the temptation to drift away at bay. Still, some weeks it seems like I just say the same things over and over. That's not totally avoidable, because I really blog to keep in contact with out of town friends and family and I don't lead a rivetting life, but it does get a little boring sometimes, even for me. Also I get into the sibling rivalry thing - if I pit a picture of my granddaughter up I get several via email of my grandson by the end of the same day. First world problems, I'd say.

The hardest part for me? Finding the TIME to blog! I have the ideas and the words... just not the time (or motivation) by the time I get home from my full-time job.

I find keeping up with all the ideas I have and coming up with new and interesting topics to explore the hardest parts...you can only show so many cat photos in one blog ;)

It's difficult for me to keep posts targeted around a cohesive topic because my interests change so rapidly. I had to ditch the tagline that describes what the blog is about.

I would say the hardest part about blogging for me is the writing. I post everyday and find it difficult knowing when to stop. I put everything I've got into almost every post, seven days a week and it can get exhausting! When my daughter complains of having to write a 500 - 1000 word essay, I just tell her... try writing one every day!

Oh yay! Well, I'm a recently engaged 20-year-old currently in the midst of starting up my own blog and business on Etsy.com. I've just left my school (yikes!!) where I was pursuing a degree in Graphic Design in order to go after what I really want to do with my life, so all of this is pretty intimidating in its own way.

Concerning actual writing, I'm not that worried about it (I wrote a column amongst other articles for all four years of high school and some for my college newspaper) but I've never done an actual blog. I'm pretty organized, so I take lots of pictures, bookmark, and even make sure to write my initial thoughts about whatever I'm observing, but I don't know if I have the discipline to keep up-to-date on a blog. I need help figuring out a way to set myself up for success concerning scheduling and time.

Also, I think I have plenty to blog about, but I'm not sure what all is appropriate for a blog. How specific and personal should I get? Writing for newspapers, I always had a target goal, but with blogs I'm just not sure what to go after! Also, also, I'm not sure what the rules of etiquette are for blogging, and I really don't want to commit any virtual faux-pas! :)

In any case, I really enjoy reading your blog and I figure if I can get advice straight from a woman who runs her own successful crafty blog, I'd eventually be sitting pretty well myself! Anyway, thank you for everything you do.

I think the hardest part for me is finding the balance between my crafty life and my dance life. I feel guilty when my dancing life gets too busy for me to have my crafty life and write about it!

Posting regularly is a problem but I do love blogger's feature that allows you to write a bunch of posts and have them post later. I'm never really sure if what I have to say is of any interest to other's out there. I also forget to take photos throughout the process of making something new.

Blogging, sigh!!!!!!! I have no time to blog, I love it!! I just have to make time to blog, that is my biggest problem. I love the networking, the ideas and the people. How do you get people to follow your blog?? I am a bit techy challenged and I don't understand feeds, tweets and linking..........I think I need some webby help!

I find it hard to blog about things that my followers will find interesting. I always think, just because I find it interesting doesn't mean the my readers do as well. I hope they do!
Also, it's sometimes hard to find the time to blog, I'd like to blog every day and read blogs every day.. all day! But I just don't have the time.

The hardest part for me is to get people that visit to comment. I get about 150-200 visits per day, but usually the same 3 peeps comment. How do I draw the others in?

The hardest thing about blogging for me is finding what to write about everyday - some weeks I have lots of inspiration and easily have something to write about everyday but other weeks I struggle. This is just on my personal blog by the way - on Cuteable I always find plenty to write about!
