Hi - I came across your blog because you were talking about my bead quilling article. Now I've spent time going back and reading all the past entries. Great blog! I love all things crafty. Thanks for talking about bead quillng. I hope lots of folks try it. It can be time consuming but the results are very cool.

Okay, I mean nothing by this at all, but I've decided that you're like some kind of pusher or something. I LOVE these beads that look like quilling, because I don't like quilling! Isn't that odd? So now I'm going to have to simulate quilling by not quilling! This is an ASTOUNDING IDEA!!

Anyway, I want to do all of this, but I'm exhausted from meeting deadlines. And tonight I have me the DT's for ATCs. I think maybe I could use some seed beading on a set of ATCs!

I have the Klutz Press quilling book. The title is Twirled Paper. So far I've only made a kooky-looking bird, but it was really fun to do! And it's easy if you're not trying to get too precise. Like most things it'll take practice to get really good, but unlike some things - I could jump right in and make something I was happy with straight off.

When I got this issue, I couldn't wait to try the bead quilling! Bead crochet is also on my list of techniques to learn :) I hope I win the magazine b/c it will give me an excuse to BUY MORE BEADS! Thanks for the beady-goodness, Diane!
